As you know, the proposed state budget cuts to education are devastating! To offset the budget cuts, the Foothill Ranch Kids Foundation (FRKF) has been actively fundraising for Foothill Ranch Elementary (FRE). The recent Silent Auction raised $18,000 in just four hours of community fun at the Food Court! Thank you for your support! We are close to reaching our goal so we can hire one of the two library positions we are losing next year in the budget cuts.

And thanks again to parents like you, the PTA-sponsored “Bobcat Amazing Race” also reached its goal! This event’s success will help save our science program.

At this time our school is still in jeopardy of losing our two Computer Lab technicians and the Language Arts Assistance Program (LAAP), which helps ensure students can read at grade level. We will not officially know what the District will or will not financially support until summertime. But we do know that our children’s education must not suffer because of the state's budget crisis. So we need your help NOW! Please help put us over the top so we can hire a librarian and address these other vital programs we stand to lose. All money FRKF raises will remain on our campus and supports your students.

We are very grateful for the support you have shown us for all the children at our school.
